Clip-Lok Structural Standing Seam
Clip-Lok Metal Roofing Details:
We install Clip-Lok standing seam metal roofing systems for residential homes and commercial projects in Sanilac, St. Clair, Lapeer, Macomb, Huron, and Oakland Counties.
Clip-Lok standing seam panels are available in 26 & 24 gauge. The minimum recommended slope for any Vertical Seam roofing panel is 3:12.
Clip-Lok standing seam roofing is designed to be utilized over solid substrate, but can easily be used over an open structural
framing. To avoid panel
distortion, a properly aligned and uniform substructure is needed to minimize "oil canning".
The recommended substrate is 9/16" plywood with a "Perma Felt" type underlayment or 30 pound felt moisture barrier.
Clip-Loc Standing Seam panels are available in a 12" & 16" width with a 1 3/4" rib height.
Maximum recommended panel length is 45'-0".
Longer panels require additional consideration in packaging, shipping, and erection.
Concealed Clip System:
Clip-Loc standing seam roofing panels use a clip retention type system. These clips allow unlimited expansion and contraction of the roofing panels to reduce oil canning. Unlike nail slot systems which have a limited expansion range of about 20' max panel length, We have installed Clip-Lok Panels as long as 60 ft.
